As long as it has internet connection project qt will play any file you put there, but it doesn’t support streaming over SMB yet (to be added soon) which means it only works with HTTP, FTP and MMS streaming. This project is for devices running on android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.
So far it’s been tested on Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and Asus TF101 (with ICS).
